This Visual Basic application is delivered on CD ROM
to a Ceco Architect. When they start the program, they first see this screen. An Architect uses this program as
a replacement to the "Product Catalog" they normally use to create drawings for their customers. |
| A user can bring up the product specifications and
CAD files. If the architect wants to modify the specifications, we built in a word processor to assist. Of course,
the file can later be exported to the user's favorite word processor. |
One way to access to CAD files is via the tabbed metaphore.
The view option allows architect to preview file before storing in project file. |
| If the user wants to get right to a specific CAD drawing,
we built an integrated database search engine to help locate that file by typing in a description. |
When finished selecting all the files for a project,
the review section is used to preview the marked up specifications, print a catalog of selected CAD files, and
copy your selected files from the CD to your hard drive to use in AutoCAD.
