This Visual Basic application is delivered on CD ROM to a Ceco Architect. When they start the program, they first see this screen. An Architect uses this program as a replacement to the "Product Catalog" they normally use to create drawings for their customers.
A user can bring up the product specifications and CAD files. If the architect wants to modify the specifications, we built in a word processor to assist. Of course, the file can later be exported to the user's favorite word processor.

Drawing Files Tabbed Listing One way to access to CAD files is via the tabbed metaphore. The view option allows architect to preview file before storing in project file.
If the user wants to get right to a specific CAD drawing, we built an integrated database search engine to help locate that file by typing in a description.

Project Review

When finished selecting all the files for a project, the review section is used to preview the marked up specifications, print a catalog of selected CAD files, and copy your selected files from the CD to your hard drive to use in AutoCAD.
